A dark grey or black male dog is wandering around my block as I speak. It has no tags and isn't fat, but doesn't quite look starved. I don't know too much about dog breeds, but it resembles images of pit bulls I see online. It was friendly to me, a couple walking by, and a neighbor with three small dogs.

I called PAWS (philadelphia animal welfare society) and reported it, but since I'm not willing to house the dog or take it to the shelter they can't come for a day or two. I'm not too worried about it, since the dog is so friendly.

I got one crappy pic of the dog, maybe it will help. Anybody recognize this guy?

Now that I see it with the flash, it looks to be brown, not grey.
