Default Chaucer's closing?

Foobooz seems to think Chaucer's is on the market and a "good burger bar" might come in.

Is it too much of a dream to think they mean Good Dog?

4 or 5 blocks from their existing location? I doubt it.
How about the recently closed Deuce, that wouldn't be half bad.

A Standard Tap or Royal Tavern spin off would be nice too.

Chaucer's is 9 blocks from Good Dog (not counting the small streets), but I doubt it too.

I always liked chaucer's but if it's going to get replaced, may as well get a good burger out of it.

Right, that's what I meant, 4 blocks south, 5 blocks west.

As somebody who isn't familiar with Chaucer's... what happened to it?

Just went downhill?
