Nope not even close. What I did was harmless and easily fixed. All it takes is a water hose. I don't slash people's tires like some jealous chick seeking revenge on her ex-boyfriend's lover.

You could buy an air horn to equal the terror your neighbors are inflicting on you.

...and scare the crap out of the dog.

Nothing big- got some of that dogs crap, spread it all over his door handle... maybe the dog barks 'cause it doesn't like it's neighbor

I appreciate that, Hubba. But the animal control people aren't going to do anything unless they're being neglected or abused.
It's assinine when hardworking people can't get any sleep because some ignorant person doesn't want to take the time to actually love and take of the dog they have but gets away with the bare minimum of feeding it and watering it but then leaving it out all the time.
My point is- I cannot believe there are no laws on this. They say a dog barking in the yard all hours of the night is the same as a baby crying. They can't be friggin serious.

Ok, all joking about dog crap aside... have you said anything to the neighbor? I know it may cause some conflict... but maybe if you mention that it's keeping you up at night, they will keep the dog inside? thats probably why the thing is out all night- So THEY can sleep. maybe ask the other neighbors if it bothers them too, and see about getting a letter together from all of you and dropping it in the mailbox...

Think blasting my stereo in their direction at 9am would get my message across. That's the time I can legally blast my music, 9am? I did try to reason.

By the way , all I did was throw an egg or two at the wall of their house. If that makes me a criminal then so be it. The dogs licked most of it up and really seemed to enjoy it.

honestly, thats not too bad- no real damage- my step father used to do it to cars who "stretched out" ya know, parked right in the middle of two spots... he'd lean out the bedroom window and let an egg drop on the hood... I never condoned that... it was funny when i was younger, than I realized he was actually doing damage to the cars! heh heh... anyway, sucks to be in your position, like I said- if it was a few hours, I say deal with it, but sucks when you have to hear it all day and night long... good luck...
