Has anyone heard what's going on with the Bainbridge club? I have heard a few different rumors:

1. Rendazzo brothers put in a bid but were denied a little while back
2. The guy that owns the Artisan on Bainbridge between 15th and Broad recently put in a bid, higher than the Rendazzo's bid.

Does anyone know any more details than this? If the guy who owns the Artisan ends up with the property that would be great for the area because he builds a great house and he builds it really fast. I would think they could put in 6-8 decent size houses on the Bainbridge club property (3-4 on Bainbridge and 3-4 on Kater).

if that's true, they're probably going to try and build something like their already planned "artisan II" development on the 1400 block of bainbridge, between bainbridge and kater:

Any idea how substantial that rumor is? I'd be thrilled to see the kater-street-side of that building, which is held up by wooden braces replaced with some homes.

I am not sure the validity of it, but I heard it from a friend who spoke directly to the Rendazzo's.

Unfortunately, it appears this was officially a rumor, as I've heard that the Artisan builder is building on the 1400 block of Kater next, not the 1500 block.

Too bad. Hopefully, somebody will do something with the Bainbridge club.

That doesn't officially make it a rumor because he is building on Kater. He has owned the properties on Kater for awhile now, but that doesn't mean he would not buy other properties.

The rumor is back on until I hear otherwise...

I agree. Actually, phase II is the north side of Bainbridge, Phase III is 16th and Christian. He does apparently have contracts for Kater street, Broad and Fitzwater, has made offers for the parking lot at 15th and Bainbridge, so what's to say he isn't buying Bainbridge Club too?
