I went past today and it looks open, there were customers inside and there were outdoor dining tables. I am going to stop there tomorrow for coffee...I will post a review after.

dammit. I got home early, grabbed my stuff and went over to have a chill at the Beauty Shop, only to find it closed, it was almost 3 pm.

I had to go get coffee and attitude at La•Va.

Oops.

Visited Beauty Shop Cafe today, and received great service. So great, that some other customers behind me may have gotten annoyed... but it all evens out in the end, no?

Are we expecting any other commercial additions in the vicinity?

Stopped in yesterday, ditto. We'll be back.

I stopped in over the weekend and I have too say, I'm not very impressed. There was just coffee, thats it, nothing else besides a plate of cookies. Cookies and regular coffee. If this business is to survive these owners have to take a greater financial plunge and get something interesting going by way of food, music and ambiance. Seemed kind of bush league. For now I'll be sticking to ants pants and lava.

check out red hook on 4th between fitzwater and catherine. they serve organic, fair trade coffee and have a full menu of sandwiches, wraps and bagels...

But, gosh, it's not exactly in our neighborhood, is it?
