Oh man, that's bad news for my diet! Do they have mocha chip? (I don't know whether I hope they do or I hope they'd don't!!! ) Maybe if we actually WALK there.... (it's kind of a hike for us here in the southwest quadrant... if yello'bar started with the Bassetts I'd have a much bigger problem -- pun intended!)

Does anyone know why Jouvay Java closed? I liked the place, but the hours and seating were terrible.

I know that the owner of the building has it up for sale, but I think I heard something about the owners of the store having some personal issues, I don't know if that means they personally didn't like loosing money, or something else.

I don't think they did yesterday, they seem to have only a few flavors. They made a very tasty brownie sunday with walnuts and strawberries and lots of other good stuff.

They only have chocolate and vanilla right now. I vaguely remember seeing sorbet/sherbet (sp?) available, but I don't waste my time with that healthier stuff.

The sundae was really good and big enough share.

I love Pumpkin market! Maybe they can take over Jouvay's space too....

I just stopped in 'the beauty shop'.

Not ready to open yet, but the guy told me that they will be open this month.

Also said they are giving away a free Apple iPhone to the first customer.

Pretty cool.

My husband just walked by & said it's looking really good. He also spoke to the owner, who said this iPhone story is BS. Not sure where it came from?
