I am always here for a laugh.

What really happened though?

How are you able to type on this computer? Was only the TV taken? Maybe an inside job?

Only the TV was taken. It was actually my neighbor's stuff.
We left for a little over an hour. And only his TV was taken.
Not my stuff. These guys were disciplined and they could have taken a lot more. But they just stayed with the TV.

Did they just buy the TV and leave the box in the trash recently? I had a neighbor get their LCD TV stolen right after she bought it and the police asked if she left the box out for trash. She did put the box out a couple days before the theft.

The keep quiet don't snitch mentallity has got to stop.
The robbery is very disappointing to say the least but most discouraging is the fact that neighbors don't step up. It could be that no one saw or heard a FRONT DOOR get kicked down an a 100lb tv exit the building in BROAD DAY LIGHT but I doubt it.

We knocked on doors to inquire about any possible sightings and no one knew a thing.

Anyway folks. I just wanted all of you to know.
Be aware.
You've hit up the crime thread and started two separate threads saying essentially the same thing. We heard you the first time and if not, we definitely heard you the second time. Thanks.

Thanks for the info on the 17th and Washington shootings - there was an intramural softball game going on at the park across the street. The teams were both pretty shaken up by it, but I think they'll be a little happier to know the guys weren't killed.

Default Got too comfortable

No, I had the TV for months. I had friends over the Friday night before and b/c it was nice out decided to open the doors/windows.. Someone must have saw the TV on the wall and waited until I was gone... Unfortunately, I learned a hard lesson that as nice as I am, people in my neighborhood are still looking for opps to take from you.. Be safe...

Wow, I thought most of the speakeasys were long gone... I used to live across the street from one on St. Albans many long years ago. Everyone knew what the folks were doing, but neither the owners or the customers ever caused a problem (everyone was oh so discrete) that no one ever complained.

If it's causing problems (as nuisance would indicate) I guess you'd call the police.
