Let's start shopping at these establishments around closing time! The prosepect of walking into a hail of bullets might just make these jackasses think twice ...

Point taken. But it really would be just deserts. People prey on other people because they can get away with it; we live in a world where few actions have consequences.

Guns aren't the problem ... it's people who lack morals!

Again, point taken--but guns have been so readily available for so long and we've done such a horrible job prosecuting people that misuse guns. At this point, you'd only be foisting compliant victimhood on law abiding citizens if you were to take away the right to own a gun. Stop giving people probation for weapons violations. Make them do real jail time!

I've lived in the city for a decade now in several different areas and this is the first time I remember hearing about individuals with guns being driven around to commit their crimes. It scares the crap out of me. Is this something that has been going on and it's just never occured in the neighborhoods I lived in?
How on earth is an average person supposed to prepare for someone in a car mugging them? |

This is the ironic thing...they DID have a cop in there for a little while after they got robbed the last time (maybe a couple weeks ago). I had gone in there and they had a cop right at the front door. I haven't seen any rent-a-cops, but one would think that a police officer in the store would be a deterrent. I guess the scoped it and knew the officer was gone....?
