The Checklist: Neighborhood Resources

"Ward leader, Democratic party: Terry Gillen" Maybe Jackdrakula can supply the name of the Republican ward leader.

How about the place next to Pinkys on the 1800 block of South, they do pizza and sandwiches, and they’re quite good, but I can’t think of the name. Chinese at 17th and South.
Are we just listing recommendations or everything? As for markets, there is the unnamed one at 16th and Christian which looks scary but is very good ($2 hoagies!) and Food Base (which looks scary and is scary!) at 16th and Catharine.
