In a fit of virtual neighborhood envy I started off a map of some SWCC resources (actually, mostly restaurants) on this site CommunityWalk..
http://communitywalk.com/map/16866 It seems that this site allows for open input - I think anyone can add info (I didn't even register).. It would be awesome if folks did.. Perhaps there is something like this out there already? Perhaps there are folks out there with better skills that can improve upon this? If not, perhaps this could be included into whatever web projects or lists of resources are currently out there or in the works.. take care all.. Edit.. Hmm.. maybe you do have to log in to edit - not sure on that one.. Last edited by desert_tortoise : 08-20-2006 at 08:24 PM. |

Hey, gang -
I hate to jump in and sound ridiculously yuppie/ new-age-y, but does anyone know of anyone who will clean houses using non-toxics in this area? (we found one online, but they don't do CC at all!) Also, can anyone give us an idea of what we might expect to pay for bi-weekly clean of a 3/1.5 around here? (we've just relocated from CA...) Thanks, btw, for a GREAT forum & place to get acquainted with our new 'hood! |

I have a service who typically brings their own, but they also use what I specify if I provide it. (I'm picky about my wood floors and claw foot so I have them use Murphy's and baking soda from my cleaning cupboard.) They send a crew of three and charge by the hour. It takes them just over an hour to do my 3bed 1.5bath house and costs around $100. PM me if you want the details.
