Voting Bylaws Amendment
  1. Board members serve a three-year term with a maximum of two consecutive terms before they must step down. After stepping down, they shall be eligible to run for a seat at the following year’s election. One third (1/3) of the board membership is elected or re elected each year. The transition from the previous Board election cycle to the new is described in Appendix A, which shall be incorporated as part of these bylaws.
  2. Only full member of SOSNA shall be eligible to be nominated for election to the Board.
  3. Elections shall be held yearly at the General Membership meeting in September.
  4. Votes shall be cast by ballot from among the full members in attendance who have filled out a membership form seven (7) days prior to the day of election. There shall be no proxy votes.
  5. A minimum of two (2) members of the Election Committee shall serve as judges of elections to count ballots and certify results.
  6. Terms shall commence at the first meeting following the election.
7. The nominations and the election shall each be announced thirty (30) days prior to the date of the general meeting at which they will take place. Meetings will be publicized throughout the neighborhood.

Just a reminder about tomorrow night's meeting...
Also, a heads-up that this meeting will be a first, on two fronts:

1. We will be meeting in St. Charles Senior Center (a purportedly much nicer venue than the usual MARC or St. Anthony's).

2. It will be the first meeting which will adhere to SOSNA's new, much more organized/professional, protocols. (See http://www.southofsouth.org/?q=zoning_protocols for details.)

Should be a refreshing change!
