Default SOSNA Board Meeting, 3/26/2008 at 7 p.m.

The monthly SOSNA board meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 26, at 7 p.m. in the basement of St. Anthony' senior center at 23rd & Carpenter.

The board meetings are open meetings, and interested neighbors are welcome to attend. If you come, please be aware that it is a working board meeting, usually with a full agenda. So come and listen -- and if you want to get involved, talk with one of the Board members after the meeting...

Default Park meeting, 4/9, 6:30 p.m.

Dear all,

This meeting overlaps with SOSNA's general meeting, but if you don't mind leaving one a few minutes early and/or showing up at the other a few minutes late, you can do both. I certainly plan to.

Here's the text of the flyer that the park folks have put together. I have a sneaking suspicion that Lolly will put the flyer on the http://www.montrosepark.org site where folks can get at it and download/copy/leaflet. I've distributed my last leaflet (a job I've always hated) and am converting to an e-mail list, but will make flyers available at our Saturday block cleanup.

"Spring into your park", by the way, is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, so mark your calendars.

Come One, Come All
You are invited to:
WHAT: Friends of Julian Abele (formerly Montrose) Park Meeting
WHEN: Wednesday, 9 April 2008
6:30-7:30pm
WHERE: Shiloh Baptist Church

21st & Christian Street

Let’s get ready for “Spring Into the Park” and hear exciting park updates

Hope to see you there –

Yes, the website is now updated.

Also, FYI, SOSNA will be leafletting the entire neighborhood today about the general SOSNA meeting (8pm at St. Anthony's), as well as the Park meeting (6:30-7:30pm at Shiloh), both being held next Wednesday.

Default SOSNA Board Meeting 4/30/08

SOSNA Board Meeting 4/30/08

Board meetings are usually at St. Anthony's Senior Center in the basement, 2300 block of Carpenter St.

Does anyone have a confirmed start time and agenda? Thanks.

In order for proceedings to be expedited, the public does not comment unless invited at Board Meetings, but they are still a great way to get the latest and greatest info about what is going on in SWCC.

Hello,

more pleasant for walking will join the meeting. We value you time and will
present and gather the information needed within one hour. Though we will
stay longer to discuss ideas in more detail with those who have more time.

The meeting will be held Monday, May 12th at the Marian Anderson Rec Center
(740 South 17th Street) from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. We hope to see you there!
Please feel free to forward this email or the attached invitation to others
