It used to be that SOSNA as well as the ZBA placed emphasis on the votes of residents in the immediate/adjacent/surrounding 2-block area. That always seemed fair to me because of the direct impact a variance approval might have on immediate neighbors. Is this no longer the case?

I don't think anyone quite knows what's what yet, except that we know Sharif Street is not on the board.

That's still the case with SOSNA. As LB says below, no one knows what the ZBA will do. There are several threads about the replacement of all of the members of the ZBA from David Auspitz on down. The new board starts hearing cases Jan 22.

I think the lines between "SOSNA project" and "project that will benefit the SOSNA neighborhood" occasionally get blurred.

Does anyone know the location and time of the upcoming SOSNA zoning meeting (2/20)? My project is on the agenda, but I haven't received a flyer or notice of the meeting!!
