Right. I am about to photocopy the meeting notice and will be leafleting the 2100 block of Christian. If you happen to be on the 2100 block of Webster, you might want to do two things:

1. Print out the notice and leaflet the block -- I put it online at
http://www.southphillyblocks.org/sosna/

2. Notify Larry Shaeffer (PM me for e-mail address) that you're doing so.

Finally, if you come to the meeting June 20 you should be able to find out when the ZBA hearing is scheduled. If the neighbors have significant concerns, SOSNA should be writing to ZBA to request a continuance.

I gather that Chew has sold up. It's not clear to me whether they own clear back to Webster Street, although they have certainly paved it over for parking/rear access as though they have. This is indeed an enormous change for this block, which is why I'm going to leaflet 2100 Christian.

EDIT: oops, I'm discussing on the announcement thread. Bad Moderator! I will start a new thread with the two postings, and we should discuss there.

Default Community Zoning Meeting

I have received a notice about SOSNA's next zoning meeting on 7/18, to be held at the MARC at 6:30 PM. I trust LB will post the agenda as soon as it is made available to her.

I received a flyer yesterday, so points to the group for getting them out to nearby residents in a timely manner. Sadly, it has not been e-mailed -- I can only assume that now that the personnel committee has taken on the role of Three Headed Executive Director it has rolled back the e-mail program.

I will try to scan it and post it today. There's more about the 2100 Christian/Webster development.

Default SOSNA 7/18 Zoning

Dear all,

I've scanned the July 18 zoning notice and put it online at

http://www.southphillyblocks.org/sos...sna_zoning.pdf

I note that this one is again held at Marian Anderson Recreation Center, which is not handicapped-accessible.

Default SOSNA meetings

Hi

I have never posted before today. New to the neighborhood. Just bought a home at 26th and Christian. So, I am wondering if there is a way to get on a email list or something in order to be notified about sosna meetings or neighborhood meetings (i am assuming all neighborhood meetings are affiliated through sosna). The sosna website has been down?! If anyone can help me with this info, that would be great- We would like to attend and be involved.

Meeting notices are posted on this thread and also on a Yahoogroups! mailing list, southwest_center_city@yahoogroups.com, as they are received. Many newer residents report difficulty in getting on the SOSNA e-mail list. The SOSNA website has been down since March.

Yes, but do note that they very often get the meeting times & places wrong. For example, last night's zoning meeting was listed on www.southwestcc.info as 5:30pm when it was in fact held at 6:30pm. And this is not the first time I've seen that happen.

This calender only notes times and places provided to them by others. Changes to calender information are made as provided.
