Hi, folks. A meeting about the park
March 26, 2007, 7:00 p.m. St. Anthony Senior Center I think the committees are going to discuss a first-class problem: how to spend the $50,000 that Terry Gillen and her team secured from Philadelphia Green to get started on the park.

Hi everyone -
Council President Verna has done some pretty wonderful things for our neighborhood over the years. My personal favorite was removal of the cell tower at 25th and Christian, but she was also instrumental in acquiring the property that will make up the park at 22nd and Montrose as well as a number of other projects including development of St. Anthony's Senior Residences. Now you have the chance to meet (and thank) her in person. She's going to be visiting with the neighbors at my new favorite stomping ground, Yell o'Bar, on Monday April 23rd beginning around 6:30. Hope to see lots of neighbors out to support our Council President Anna Verna. AHB |
