Default Sidecar Review in PW

http://www.philadelphiaweekly.com/view.php?id=11466

Hats to Adam & Jen for having the guts to open their restaurant/bar! I expect things will keep getting better and better for them.

p.s. does anyone know who we can send e-mails to to get a G-Ho/Naval Sq. forum? This is ridiculous.

just keep posting about it till someone does something, but PLEASE don't call it naval square. go g-ho go! g-ho g-ho g-ho!

hats off indeed to adam and jen, but i didn't like that review. i thought mccutcheon was a little condescending in her tone. "aww, how cute -- the young couple opened a bar!" plus she said the mac & cheese was plain. WHAT?! their mac & cheese is the best i've had since i left my mama's house. (sorry tritone, it's true.)

still, can't beat free publicity. love that sidecar!

Thumbs up

I've got to stop by the SideCar. I pass it everyday on my way to Naval Square. I've heard great things about it. How are the crowds?

Default Naval Square

I know VERY much about Naval Square use to work there - what would like to know - the site holds the Governors Mansion which will be converted into 6 condos following sales and the Toll office leaving - the Governors Mansion - will also hold six condos - Biddle Hall is being converted into one, two and three bedroom units - many are single level efficiencies to two story units on the upper floor - the central dome area of the building will have a work out room - and pool table etc - Concierge at the front of Biddle and the rear addition called the Annex will also have a convenience store and concierge - and the Annex addition will double the size of the entire Biddle building designed by Strickland and built to completion in 1836 - original Naval Academy and designed to withstand Cannon ball fire from the river - A six story building will be on the back end facing the river called City View - and house condo flats - new town homes and two over two condos comprise the remainder of the twenty acre site - the first two buildings are occupied - 14 units - and the third building closings are next month
