So.. I'm voting on the AOL Digital City Guide "best of" or whatever..

I like how on AOL Digital City Guide, various SoSo/NWSP/SWCC/GHo establishments get categorized in totally different neighborhoods..

All within like, 3-4 blocks of each other

Pumpkin=Center City West
Fiso=South Street
Bob&Barb=South Street
Tritone=Graduate Hospital
Pico De Gallo=Center City West
Ten Stone=Graduate Hospital

(I know Ten Stone is more than 4 blocks away from Fiso but.. it's on the North Side of South St. -- which also kills any "B&B is on the North and Tritone is on the South" argument..)

My guess is that the establishments claim their neighborhood and that Digital City doesn't edit for these inconsistencies?

Who knows.. it's somewhat frustrating..

first of all, your location is awesome. (east northwest south philly.)

secondly ... i used to freelance for AOL cityguide (bunch of cheap, poorly run, corporate red tape abusing sumbitches). i was FOREVER telling them that they needed a graduate hospital section, and my editor (who was actually quite cool, but alas just a pawn in AOL's game, and was also based in NYC) kept telling me that her boss (who was allegedly from philly) insisted that there was no such neighborhood as graduate hospital area (or what have you), despite my telling her in bold and all caps "BUT I LIVE HERE."

so, since it was not an option, the person who wrote up the review had to choose from center city west, rittenhouse square, south philly and whatever else you see on there. the ten stone and tritone writeups must have been updated, because g-ho was definitely not an option when i wrote/photo'd for them.
