Default New Grad Hospital website

I've gone ahead and purchased www.G-Ho.com and I would like some feedback from you folks as to what you'd like me to do with it.

I think we've got enough blog action already. Any ideas? Local advertising or shout outs for local events?

Whady'all think? Let's have fun with this...

Eeeuw. G-ho? Monkeychef -- what WERE you thinking???

(My late neighbor, the first time "Hertz" gifted us with an upgrade to a Lincoln Town Car, called it a three-ho car. I don't think any URL with "ho" in it cuts it in this neighborhood.)

I see g-ho.com is registered to Flying Monkey Specialty Patisserie on East 12th St, NYC, but then I also see from other posts that you are opening soon in Philly. Have you found a suitable location yet? Considering South Street in G-Ho? Looks like we can sample your work at Ants Pants for now.

Default G-ho!

Wow. I feel a little flamed, lb....don't be so serious. I live in the neighborhood too and god knows how much drama carries on here. I think G Ho is a great name for the area: sure beats "Grad-you-ate Hos-pit-al" or "Grad Hosp" or god forbid "Naval Square" (ICK.) or any of those completely unrememberable acronyms. Have fun. Life's too short, friend.

Besides, I distinctly remember several threads a while back about some 'ladies of the evening' selling their wares on 22nd St, so the name really ain't so far off afterall.

The people of the different So-Hos don't mind their name so much.

I think G-Ho is great and heartily endorse it. Of course, I don't live there. But the nickname has character.

Whatever. A small retirement house in the country is looking better.

Yabbut they generally aren't hyphenated, so the -ho isn't sticking out the way it is in G-Ho.

Listen, you young kids and new residents can call it whatever you want. I'm beginning to feel distinctly old and not-with-it here. Besides, I see that ahb doesn't mind it and she's lived in the neighborhood longer than I have.

I'll go book my room in the rest home now.
