yesterday, i was taking the inlaws on a tour of the neighborhood. we were driving west on montrose. somewhere between 16th street and 19th (i don't remember exactly where), we saw brand new plastic playground equipment in bright colors (yellow, red, etc.). i believe there were woodchips on the ground. it was quite cute. has anyone else seen this? know what i am talking about? when was this play area built? by whom?

the folks from the southwest center city newsgroup (yahoo) informed me that the playground is for the christian street Y day care center and was built by a crew of volunteers and funded by gmac mortgage and kaboom!. it is between 17th & 18th on montrose. here's a pic:
