I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for a plumber do a washer and dryer hook up and a person with experience doing some electrical work? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We have had good experiences with Sam Wexler Plumbing (http://www.samwexlerplumbing.com/) the three or four times we've used them for various services.

As far as general contractors go, we've also had excellent service from Preston General Contracting (215-701-8023; we've dealt with Andy Berrera). I believe they do both plumbing and electrical work, although we haven't used them specifically for plumbing.
