Joely,
Are you trying to be a dick or is it simply in your nature? Do me a favor and don't quote me in any more of your posts. I don't appreciate being associated with your rants. In the future, instead of just sitting on the internet bitching about all of the conspiracies in the city, why don't you do something about it and get involved in your community?

Thanks for bringing it up again ... I misplaced the thread. First of all I must apologize for calling it O-Sandwich, sometimes O-Sandwhich, and on occasion O-Sandwitch. It is in fact, "O-Sandwiches."
I was by the place yesterday. No I did not eat there because it is not open yet. And if I did eat there I am not saying because you already know how effective the Civic Group UberZoningGruppen can be. There are serious fines for that kind of thing. However, I am in complete agreement with the South Street Headhouse District that those Handout Restaurants need to be stopped. They definitely interfere with family values. "Handout restaurant? You mean takeout restaurant, I presume?" Nope. I do not think takeout restaurants affect family values. They wrap the sandwitch, err sandwhich, and they charge you tax and out you go. Handout Restaurants are those restaurants that have a special permit from the Zoning Board to HANDOUT say a sample of Choca-Mocha Ice Cream right on the sidewalk. The girl stands there when business is slow and HANDS OUT freebies. I just had that at 8th and Walnut Streets at the Starbucks'. Now I am careful. I throw my wooden spoon wrapper, the discarded ice cream container, the napkin, the spoon, the cover, the paper in between the cover and the container, EVERYTHING, and all other refuse right into a basket. Why? I am worried about those UbenGrupper guys. SO HOW does this negatively impact family values? Well you see, so many people today believe that there really is a free lunch. After all, they build fancy houses and their neighbors pay for the garbage pick up and stuff. Those are not family values, you know. Same for free HANDOUTS on the street. Joel

Welcome to PB Eddy333.
I am glad we could amuse you. We can all visit Joely once he gets his stinkin O'Sanwich shop opened up. Whatever you do, be sure to misspell Joely's O'Sandmich shop, that way it won't show up when someone Google's it and everyone will go to Pat's and Geno's instead....and it will have the pleasurable side effect of making Joely (more) crazy. -UC |

Good one Uncle Cranky. As clarification, I have no interest either
professional, personal or business at O-Sandwiches. But I bet you guys will be over there constantly, just to see if I am there! Joel Quote:

Nice try Guy.
You missed this part: Quote:
This part happened at the Starbucks' Restaurant which is licensed for HANDOUT. That is not family values. Joel

Eddy,
You are a sharp guy. I see that you know all the trivia about the vents and all the fine points that make this such an interesting tale. You will have no trouble passing the final. Do not worry! Joel Quote:
