Smile Need New Phone Lines Run in my House

Hi Everyone,

I'm in South Philly, near Broad & Tasker and I need some phone lines run from my second floor to the basement but really don't want to pay Verizon's crazy hourly prices. If anyone here does that kind of work or knows someone who does for reasonable prices, please contact me or give them my contact info at your convenience. Ideally I'm looking for someone who works for the phone company and does this on the side. But anyone you knows what they're doing works just fine. Thanks, in advance, for your help with this.

why don't you just buy a set of those phones that don't require phone lines. they just work off a base station.

I actually tried that...and they didn't work. And I need a real line for my fax machine and computer upstairs, and you can't do that with the remote units. But I wish you could. :-)

Thanks,

Reggie :-)

I would think an electrician could do it for you.

Phone lines are super easy to run. Why not do it yourself?

I agree. It'll cost you about $30 or so in phone line and you could probably do it in half a day.

Red face Good idea...

just concerned about drilling holes in the walls upstairs to run the lines. But I may just do it myself.

Thanks for getting back to me. :-)
