Default Best Breakfast Sandwich in S Philly

Looking for a great breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg cheese on a fresh bagel maybe) , preferably in east passyunk area. Deli, diner, coffee shop whatever.

Head to Black and Brew, just north of the fountain at Passyunk and Tasker.

John's has great breakfast sandwiches. As well as pork and steaks. No bagels that I know of.

Of course, a real man would eat a large John's roast pork sandwich by himself.

My friends and I have a tendency to go by DiBruno's Pronto in the Italian Market on a Saturday and get one of their breakfast sammiches. They have several different varieties, including egg, cheese, meats, and additions such as roasted red peppers or sundried tomatoes. The serving is quite large too, we usually split one sammich three ways and are quite satisfied!

Atlantic Pizza & Restaurant 1401 South 12th Street

Famous 4th Street Deli 4th & Bainbridge Streets

Brunics 17th & McKean Streets

Tony Luke's 39 East Oregon Avenue

(Phila-Deli South Street RIP)

When on daywork I will get a pepper, egg & cheese with a little hot sauce on a long roll at one of the above establishments (in no particular order) at least once or twice during the week.

I like them. Your milege may vary.
