Only the people who have grown up here would know about Italiano's and have voiced thier opinion's. Go now.

Still ended up marrying one though, we all do that down here.

But dammit , it was worth the walk and the fight to get there when I was a kid, and still is to this day.

Go.

I'll just say this,......... let's say you bet numbers, state pays 5 to one (lottery), street pays 6 to 1.

Enough said.

Always at least listen to the street and then figure it out for yourself.

Pop's on Oregon Avenue between Broad & 13th. And you can get your gelati with either soft serve or hand-dipped ice cream. They've got a long history, since 1932. I've been a Pop's fan since my grandfather took us there back in the 60s.

I was thinking home appliances, jewelry, bicycles, etc. Basically, anything likely to have recently fallen off the back of a truck.

I also don't consider the Italian Market "the street"; if the guy says the tomatoes are good; the tomatoes are good!
