I hired The Boss's Custom Painting and Remodeling to hang some wallpaper in my house. After they collected a $100 deposit and then no-showed twice, I wish I had cut my losses. Instead, I endured being screamed at by Robin, the secretary, and had Brock (Douglas Sherman) show up to wallpaper the walls.
He hung the wallpaper with spray on adhesive (and assured me that this was the "way it's done now").
Less than a month later, it's literally falling off the walls.
The wallpaper was a special order from overseas. I now have to reorder over $300 in wallpaper, plus have the job redone by someone who knows what they are doing (who came over to do the estimate and was nothing less than horrified by the workmanship of the Boss's job!)
Learn from my mistake. Avoid the Boss.
