For out-of-towners it's easiest to park by Ugly A.--right under 95.

Not really suggesting a place, but, what is it with the younger (17-early 20's) crowd going to Nickel's all of a sudden, especially on Fridays and Saturdays ?That place always just seemed like...I dunno like hole in the wall, after work place for people in their 30's and on and where Pottsies are on the weekends. Seriously, though, my boyfriend was busy one night and said our friends are there if I wanna meet up with them to go and I was "Lawlz. Who even goes there out of choice?"

Formaldehyde, your description says you are 16-not quite the age to be on the internet talking about bars and alcohol.

At anyrate, June 12th Christian Death is playing at New Alhambra. Figured you'd be interested in knowing.(And yes, I'm being serious-christian death IS playing in S. Philly)

Thanks everyone. I think we're doing Devil's Den for one and then over to Ray's, and might try Pope and or Ugly.
Since the one guy wants "scenery," we might hit the Pennsport...

*shrugs*Meh I know tons of people that go to Lickity Split and The Dive all the time and they certainly aint 21, let alone 18. But,anyway, I'm well aware of "Christian Death" playing here. I'm not paying money to go see Valor Kand, though. He took what Rozz Williams created and destroyed it. Their only somewhat decent song was their cover of Soft Cell's "Sex Dwarf" (Original pwns all, though.) from the "Pornographic Messiah" album. If it was CD 1334 (Miss Eva O. and the original band), I'd sell my kidney for that ****,if, I had to. They are and will always be the epitome of Deathrock and of Goth, though, that one goes to Bauhaus. Speaking of which, can't wait to see Peter Murphy at the Troc.
