Its about PEOPLE not about the buildings. Its not Achitectural Digest.
So you want articles to be like "how to cram a washer dryer into a little house" Actually there should be a article about a recipe for peppers and eggs. |

Hi,
If you can get a hold of Inspired House magazine ,now out of print but back issues still available via Taunton press, that might give you some ideas. Tuanton press has a few other series, including Fine Homebuilding which might be of interest. Every year they do a kitchen and bath special issues and they tend to focus on normal houses-- ie not mcmansions. Also look at the books that are called Not So Big House--once again good decorating ideas. |

I think the problem is that "Row Home" is even in the title of the magazine. It leads one to believe it is about row home living (hence design issues, remodels, DIY). Many think is is a local kind of like a Domino or Dwell. In reality it is a VERY editorially light, ad heavy magazine with a different focus.

Of possible interest to those following this thread is another discussion in the QV forum regarding an Inquirer article about row homes and a link to an "owners manual" 52 page pdf document.
