Wait..you wrote "Trash" and "Litter" on the cans?

Yeah......

Yeah......
Reminds me of an incredibly funny experience when I first began working in an office about 25 years ago. That was a time when corporations had "computer rooms" and all printouts were made on that continuous, green-bar computer paper about 14"x11". I had a stack of printouts about 2 feet high that needed to be discarded. On the top sheet, I wrote, "This is garbage," so that the cleaning crew would remove it. Yep, you guessed it, the woman took only the top sheet.

I'm sorry about your planter, that's pretty low. You try to make the front of your home look nice, and that's the thanks you get....that's the city for you, I suppose.

I came home from work this AM to find my bike back tire missing. The bike was locked on my railing, and I thought I locked both tires along with the frame, but I forgot to lock my back tire. Blah.
I bet a replacement tire and frame and stuff is gonna cost as much as the whole bike, you watch.

Our next door neighbors lock up their bikes outside, also, so I dropped them a note warning them to lock up the tires along with the frame...they have much more expensive bikes than my puny Schwinn.

They haven't picked up the recycled trash yet, and I have to go to work, so I bet they will take my bins next, 'cause I won't be home 'till the AM to bring the bins inside.

God, I wish I had a bike to give you! So sorry for your frustrating discovery. Good luck with the recycle bins!

If I find my pot, I'm kicking ass before I take my planter back where it belongs.
