Has anyone heard what happened with South Penns Inc at Snyder & 13th? I applied there to get my car tags MANY months ago, went in there time after time, and still haven't gotten anything done.

Now the police are involved and said they shut the place down and made arrests. Does anyone know the story?

The Pa State police are investigating. They supposedly have all of South Penns records and applications. When they are done with them Penn Dot will be able to process them.

Many people have been screwed by this place. We have had complaints coming to the window everyday.

In the future if you can use PennDot's site on the web, use the tags place at Water & Tasker Streets (south side) I believe they are online with PennDot and that should ensure a smooth and trouble free transaction.

Does anyone know how I can get more info on this? I am having trouble with this place too and the DMV has no record of my title or plate number!

And what are we suppose to do in the meantime?

They won't have any record because the info has not been forwarded to them yet.

Try calling the Belmont barracks of the Pa. State Police. I don't have the number handy, but it is in the blue pages.

I believe the invetigator who is handling this situation works out of there.

My parents went to get their tags done in December on a car they just bought. The South Penns Inc. place gave us tags with tons of violations on it.

Now the Philadelphia Parking Authority has booted and towed my parents' car. We are also stuck with the violation bill that belongs to someone else. We went to the hearing and tried explaining to the PPA but they do not care.

We have no idea on who to contact nor what to do.
If any of you have any information on who to contact please inform me.
