Does anyone know a pretty good Chinese restaurant that'll deliver to the Gray's Ferry area? I can't find any.

I call China House{2100 Oregon}They're OK but not great.215-271-8840 and 8841

There's another on 2300 Oregon Ave. but they don't deliver at all, but there is the best food.

I don't know how far in Grays Ferry you are, but I live around 28th and Ellsworth area and Jade Garden on 22nd and south street delivers here all the time. The food is good and delivery is ridiculously fast.

Thanks for the info. The one really good place that's around 23rd and Oregon doesn't deliver anywhere and their food is excellent.

I'll have to give Jade Garden a try. From an earlier post , Peanut seems to be close by both of us so Im sure they deliver to him/her and me also.

There's a place called JC's somewhere in south Philly on like 12th or 13th or something that has amazing (and expensive, lol) chinese food that I used to order from when I lived on 9th st. I don't know if they deliver up here, but it's worth a shot.

JC's is at 8th and Morris and they're way over priced and although they're good the place on 23rd and oregon puts their food to shame. Not so much for quality but for the way they prepare their food. It's more like China town style of cooking, which is my personal favorite.

Ok their name just came to me. It's House of China. they're in the strip mall stores that sit back off Oregon around 23rd. So if you ever want to do a pick up you might want to give them a try.

JC is on 8th and Morris st. was once a very happening place in the 70's JC Cafe. the food was top notch, I still think it's better then a lot of these dirty hole in the wall joints.
