11th and tasker
someone may have answered this question before, but i've had no luck searching for the answer:
what's the deal with the two corner buildings at 11th and tasker? the one always has the blinds closed but looks like it has people inside. the other is the "john wesley hardin" storefront

The John Wesley Hardin storefront is being renovated (slowly) and last I heard, it was going to be luxury apartments.
The other building is privately owned and the owner and his neighborhood friends use it to hang out, drink coffee and smoke cigars.
