We went to Passyunk Tavern after the Phillies game on Saturday with a group of friends---always a good time. I heard a while back that the owners had sold to the people who own Kristian's and that it would be converted to a gastropub. Is that still happening? Does anyone know what's going on with that? It's a shame that we're going to lose yet another classic South Philly joint.

The new owners take over in Janurary.

Though, I'm not sure about the conversion to a gastro-pub.
