I saw the bus recently, far from where it's from. I think it was in Bucks county. It was blue and covered with graffiti.

Three is the correct number. U-9, U-11 and U-13. Go Monarchs

Default Please Consider Supporting the Monarchs

I received this email from Coach Stewart this morning:

Dear Friend of the Anderson Monarchs Girls Soccer Club:

Over the last year or so you have probably seen some of the press about our effort to create opportunities for inner city girls to compete in soccer and beyond. We've been featured on NBC10 news several times, have been guests on NBC10's 10! show and were the subject of detailed cover stories in the Daily News and Philadelphia Weekly last fall and summer. I've not attached these stories but most of them can be found by searching for 'Anderson Monarchs' using Google or other search engines. The main point of the stories has been that our girls are accomplishing great things but that we are desperate for the support of the community. Last year we created a non profit corporation called Soccer Sisters inc. to which several of you have contributed in the past. I'd like to acknowledge those gifts and thank each of you for the support you have given us. Despite your past support, however, we are about to complete our latest fiscal year with a substantial deficit while at the same time attempting to raise funds to continue the program. I write to ask you to consider making a financial contribution to support the continuation of this program for inner city girls. If you have any questions, you can contact me 215-519-9227, or by reply to this email. If you are able to help, our mailing address is Soccer Sisters, Inc., 6232 Ridge Ave., Philadelphia, PA, 19128. If you know of others in your organizations who may wish to help, please feel free to forward this email, or have them contact me.

Thank you,

Walter Stewart, President, Soccer Sisters, Inc.
