why aren't there more dog parks in our area? i live on camac street and see so many dogs being walked but no parks in the vicinity. the only one i know of is all the up by Wharton and all it is is a concrete slab......the least they could do is put pine bark down or mulch.....nice one where i used to live in manayunk.

When I lived in that neighborhood, I let my dog run in the field beside the actual DP on Wharton. When there was no one else using it for soccer or football. We usually had company.

I wish there was a park down here. I live on Camac as well. I see so many ppl walking their dogs too. I hope there is a dog park one of these days. It would be nice.

Oh god...that's too funny...never hit me that RockysMom was actually Rocky's mom but when you mentioned you live on Camac as well....well, it's a small world...I'm your neighbor....with the baby and 3 cats

baby's fine....hope she doesn't wake you up thru the night...she's a pretty happy baby but at times can be a screamer!

come over and see her whenever....we're here

by the way, this site is really a good one! i started a new mom's group from here!

No worries, we never hear her. I just may take you up on your offer to meet her this week. I'm off on a much needed vacation this week. TG!
That's great on the group you've gotten into. I just discovered this site a few days ago and i'm addicted....yikes!

Sure..come on over. I've gone back to work but only in the am's....I take her in to the daycare on my way in....we're home by 2pm and my husband's home this week too by then.

Funny, how we're talking behind a wall...literally!
