Default Wash and Fold Service????

So I live in one of these South Philly houses that can't fit a normal washer and dryer, and have yet to get others installed.

I'm looking for a good wash and fold service in S. Philly. I went to the Spin Cycle at 24th and Oregon once. They lost my laundry over a month ago, and I'm still trying to get them to make good on it.

Any recommendations?

I've dropped my clothes off at Laundromax on 10th & Snyder a few times. I've never had a problem.

It's not quite in South Philly, but I used to have mine done at a place on the southwest corner of 4th and Queen St., they always did a nice job and never lost anything of mine. I probably used them 9 or 10 times when I lived in that area.

The laundromat at 10th and Ellsworth is good. They charge $1 a pound, or you can do it yourself there.

The laundromat at Broad and Tasker does a fairly good job--although they rarely turn t-shirts right side out!

It's actually not as bad as it seems when that happens... it forces you to come up with a whole new look... immediately.

I still got fat clothes I need to get rid of. Almost all of us have closets 1/2 full of stuff we'll never wear again--ever--for the rest of our lives. After tax season starts I plan to throw out the whole closet and start over.

And this is why you should donate to PACCA, not PETA:

In September, PETA made headlines in Vermont and across the nation for asking
Ben & Jerry's ice cream to use human breast milk in their ice cream, instead of cow milk
