Thumbs up Riverfront Design Forum/Plan Philly/PennPraxis

On Wednesday Dec. 13th at George Washinton Elementary School at 5th and Federal St. from 6pm to 9pm.
This public forum is to gather information from the public to get a better understanding of their needs and concerns, and to hear any ideas that people may have concerning the riverfront from Oregon Ave to Allegheny Ave. No matter what your interest may be this is the place to listen and be heard. I urge the South Philly community to participate and if you can't, send the folks from your neighborhood association. This forum is very important to the South Philly Community. For more info go to www.planphilly.com...

I've posted discussion items regarding the waterfront in other threads but don't have time to post anything new now, so I'll link to them:
- Likelihood of Columbus/Delaware Ave. transit line

- Improvements to S. Philly's biking amenities -> Wash. Ave, 11th St, Columbus Blvd, et

- Toronto-style Formula 1 racing in Phila - would it work?

And here's the link to the PennPraxis site -> http://www.planphilly.com/

Default PLEASE ATTEND I did on Monday

I attended at St Anne's on Monday

It is not a meeting it is a workshop
Be prepared to group and regroup.
In a hurry ... it is all very quick

DO NOT BE TIMID speak up!

I am not sure yet as to the worth

I do however recommend you get everyone you can to attend and participate.

Take notes ..... I am not sure they are all listening clearly.
Maybe it was just the final format that I felt was not what it should be.

P.S. Go early and hungry .... bring your own water .... soft drinks offered
Register in advance but walk-ins were not discouraged
