Just a bump to say that the Farmers Market has been great and will be back again tomorrow from 3 - 7pm.

This will be the last week for strawberries, but then we can look forward to cherries! Asparagus is gone and I'm looking to find out what will replace that. Been told by Sommerton Tanks that his salad greens will be available all year but the mix will vary.

And if you have had your fill of too much healthy food, the carnival is just around the corner at Columbus park. It starts this Wednesday and my plan is to eat my weight in funnel cake!

Did I mention that I love South Philly?

I finally made it to the Farmers' Market at the Fountain today and was surprised to see so view vendors there. Maybe I got there too early or too late -- around 5:15. Anyway, I bought some delicious cherries and strawberries, which definitely made the trip worth it.

I wonder if they'll have more vendors as the season progresses.

I went by the farmers market today,
didnt buy anything but my kitchen,
like a pinball machine, has 'tilted'
for about a week or so.

But I did manage to walk down to
Passyunk and Mifflin and heard a
nice jazz band playing but noticed
that they werent really playing for
many people. There's probably a
few reasons as to why, but....
....what if the live music and the
farmers market could be tied
together a little more?

Just seams like two things so far
apart would be more successful
if they were close(r) together.

I'm sure its come up and loaded
with local politics, everything is;
just thought I'd mention it..why not.

What sort of carnival? Rides? Food? Games? Rides like ferris wheel or just rides like kiddie rides?
