Just interested in some trivia... I live at 9th and Ritner. Does my community have a name? It's obviously not Whitman or Queen Village or Bella Vista... if it doesn't have a name, can somebody make one up?

Back in the day people used to identify where the lived by what parish they belonged to. Ex. St. Monica's St Richards Epiphany.

I think Whitman's a little further East. I think that it should be called (at least by realtors), "Bella Vista South." Or it may be plain ol' Bella Vista someday if "Center City South" keeps squeezing its way down.

2700 S 8th. The owner and the realtor referred to it as The Terraces.

about 3 blocks south of you and the owner and the realtor referred to it as The Terraces at Stella Maris because of all these cul-de-sac like areas with gardens in it called Mollbore Terrace and the Catholic parish is Stella Maris
