Default What time is trick-or-treating today?

Does anyone know what the approximate times of trick or treating are tonight? I just want to make sure I am around for it and can see all the costumes!

I would expect the height of trick or treating to be about 5-7, basically as soon as parents can get home and get their kids out. With the strike, it may be later, because for many people the trip home will take considerably longer than usual.

my husband said that he saw signs posted on several homes this morning declaring "no candy." we've decorated and are going to give the trick or treating thing a shot. it is our first halloween in the neighborhood. hopefully we will get children in costumes and not teens.

Last year a young female who came to my door asked if she could have another piece of candy for the baby. I looked around but didn't see a baby so i said, " Where's the baby"??? She said In my belly LOL.

I don't know how it is in your neighborhood, but here in QV I got over 100 kids last year. The teenagers tend to come later, and I often close up shop by then. I'm assuming T or T here will be around 5:30-7:00. (Oh - last year I tracked how many kids said thank you - I think only one or two didn't!)

wow! that is some turnout! we just hope for enough of a turnout so we don't eat all of the leftover candy.

I've tried buying only the candy we won't eat (is there such a thing), but 2 years ago my husband was so embarassed by what I had bought ("I don't want them thinking we give out dud candy!") that he ran out in the middle to buy more himself. I'm now under strict orders only to buy Reese's or Hershey's. Which of course, we'll eat afterwards.
