Once the little kid crowd starts to peter out around 7:30 and the crowd becomes primarily uncostumed adults with pillow cases full of candy, I turn out the light.

On the 1200 block of Snyder, we pretty much get zero trick-or-treat'ers every year..

Well, now that it's over, once again, over 100 kids. Started around 5:30, and was done by 7:45. The uncostumed teens seemed to come at the same time as everyone else this year, instead of later. And overall the crowds felt bigger, more boisterous, more energetic. I usually love Halloween here, but tonight for some reason I was glad it was over.

Not too surprising, but not a soul on the 2200 block of Kimball. Maybe they don't like the occupied-to-abandoned house ratio. Perhaps next year after all half-finished rehabs get done......
In the meantime, I'll go eat some candy.

Trick or treat....oh someone smashed my driver's side mirror around 8:00. Must have been all wasted on chocolate. The left fist prints...I should have continued to give candy out till 9:00 other wise it's smash my car...

I don't like this "holiday"....
