Default Queen's Village is South Philadelphia

South Philly is anything between the rivers south of South Street which was the original border of the City of Philadelphia as opposed to the County of Philadelphia. When the two became coextensive South Philly, North Philly etc were created.

I would trust that you are not one of those snobs who thinks that you are different from "those South Philadelphians." I am from South Philly and have travelled all over the world and interacted with various people.

There are good and bad all over. I know plumbers who are smarter than college professors.

I moved from South Philly because I do not like city life. I prefer the country. However please do not tell me that Center City people ( I lived in Society Hill) are somehow superior to South Philadelphian "Italian guys" or "blue collar" types.

That is just being a snob.
