So if I want access to the center city catchment, I need to buy North/West of E Passyunk Ave.

Correct?

I think that's right. It's interesting, looking at the map on centercityschools.org. They used to have a different map that actually showed the lines of all the catchments that made up this "Center City Network." It was hard to read, but you could tell what was in and what was out of the zone.

This map doesn't really show you the exact boundaries. In fact, up north, in Fairmount, it makes it look like all of Fairmount is included, which isn't the case. So I think I'd take this map with a grain of salt. Find out the actual catchments of the schools around its periphery and you'll see what your boundaries are.

Correct, as long as you are east of broad.

Right. A rather narrow strip, but hopefully do-able.

While riding my bike home from work today I noticed a for sale sign on a house around 13th and elsworth. It's a really nice block with some big houses.
