Default Stella may be missing - need your help

Stella's mom came around looking for her yesterday. Apparently this is the first time she never came home. If you see her, ask her of she's been home, and to contact her mother.

If you hear anything let me know- I have her mom's phone number in case anyone happens to see her around.

Stella is an independent but mentally challenged lady who hangs out on south street. Many of the local businesses are familiar with her.

She comes down and walks around, buys a drink or a slushy, then goes back to her home in upper darby. On friday, her mother said that she didn't return home, and hasn't been seen for a few days.

Here's a pict off of her myspace page. Its older, but the only difference is that her hair is a little longer.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the same person, but I figured it might be worth a post just in case.

Yesterday morning my wife and I saw a woman (I've seen her around the neighborhood about once or twice before) who looked really distraught walking north on Fourth, between South and Bainbridge. She was on the other side of the street - she was talking to herself as she walked - and a guy stopped her and asked her if she was OK. It sounded like she said something was after her, the guy looked taken aback and she kept on walking. We saw her again later in the night from our window, and she looked to be in about the same state. She seemed to have some pretty serious mental disabilities, but, like I said, I don't think this is the same person. I wasn't really able to see her face.

The local beat cops who know here were notified.

She does talk to herself sometimes, and talk on payphones although we don't believe she talks to the operator.

I am 99% certain that the women your referring to is not Stella but another woman who has been in the neighborhood for years. Many people in the neighborhood have tried to help her but to no avail. I personally think she can be a bit unpredictable and aggressive so I recommend you avoid her, her well heeled family does.

AHHHH...I just got who you meant. That lady was brought up in another thread. Yeah, that lady(sometimes wearing a scarf) can be violent at times. Definitely not Stella.
