Then do not go to my madmen thread. There are a ton of giveaways in there.

That's great news. I'm glad she's been located safe and sound enough.

Yesterday morning my wife and I saw a woman (I've seen her around the neighborhood about once or twice before) who looked really distraught walking north on Fourth, between South and Bainbridge. She was on the other side of the street - she was talking to herself as she walked - and a guy stopped her and asked her if she was OK. It sounded like she said something was after her, the guy looked taken aback and she kept on walking. We saw her again later in the night from our window, and she looked to be in about the same state. She seemed to have some pretty serious mental disabilities, but, like I said, I don't think this is the same person. I wasn't really able to see her face.
That's a woman I've known for a long time. She's schizophrenic (sic) & has other problems. Her story is so sad, but I don't think I'll tell it here. She'll get very agitated if you get near, I honestly don't know if she could be violent. She hasn't been yet, but you don't know.

If it is the lady we are thinking about, she has been violent on south street.

It's none of my business but she can be violent. Don't approach her thinking otherwise. I would not even approach her unless you want some foul substance potentially thrown on you.

Hm. I wonder if it's the same woman. Very thin, sometimes has a scarf over her head, yells a lot? I guess she could be violent, I just haven't heard about it. She lets me approach her 'cuz I've known her for about 15 years - back when she was still manageable, married, happy, functional, a lot of fun to be around. She talks about all the people who are out to get her, etc., but still remembers some of the good times.

I - & many others - have tried countless times to get her help & back on her meds, but she won't do it, as is true of most schitzophrenics (sic?). She's also been 302'd.

Now that I hear she may have been violent, it gives me new concern. Can you provide a physical description or better yet, a pic?

Sounds like her. The only story of violence I know about to be fact was in starbucks 2-3 weeks ago when she hurled, if I remember correctly, coffee at the staff. I don't know the reason though, or if I'd even understand it if there was one.
