From what I've heard, and from what I haven't seen of their website, I don't think HEC has any official capacity, other than running zoning. They don't even seem to have an election process. From what I can tell it's a few individuals who volunteer their time to accomplish their own agendas. Expecting more than that out of them will lead to disappointment.

As far as what appears to be an unelected board performing zoning responsibilities, that seems a little suspect to me if they claim to be representing the community.

I post up some iPhone photos of a nasty lot, then I mailed certified letters to Frank DiCicco, and ms_evleyn and with some help of other PBers located the developer group and threatened them with L&I action... this was what... last December?

Those 3 nasty shells were gutted and removed in no time after that.


Those things were there for YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRSSS and HEC was "on top of it". Mmmhmm.
