Not bad for a three-week period, and even some arrests effected.

Those contemplating moving to the QV/BV areas should look at these.

I'm so paranoid about my bag being stolen, I'd probably shove it up my ass if I could. I usually keep it on my lap. I never put it on the back of a chair or on the floor.

How is the post a "nimby" statement? I don't see the connection.

That isn't too bad for a 3 week period in a large neighborhood, but it does suck for the victims. Two of the 4 thefts from auto had their GPS stolen. How stupid can people continue to be?

While the REAL Alesis' point is, as usual, non-nonsensical and asinine (NIMBY), I do think that a description other than "not bad' should be used considering quite a few people got punched in the face and robbed.

Maybe something like "meh" or "fair to midland" or so-so."

a few of us got together and decided we didnt want the real alesis in our back yards or our forum. so if he/she wouldnt mind stopping posting in the QV/BV/H forum, that would be great, thanks!

regarding the crime stats, as eddy points out its those last 4 under robberies that present the problem. all the others i think are the things that come with the territory of city living and business proprietorship. The face punching and pulled knives are what is really damaging this neighborhood now.

PS: the recipient of the 7/12 face-punching got her phone back, i believe. Assuming it is who i think it is (description matches but i thought she was just pushed and not face-punched, but i could be wrong), a neighbor found the phone....rolled up inside his newspaper (?!?!)

Deutschturd, who are you to be calling anyone loser? You have all of the comprehension of a 5-year old. Some of these crimes certainly could have been far worse, and in other areas usually are.

Grow up.

There seems to be a lot of banning going on these days. Doesn't "real alesis" violate key terms of service, including their blatant antagonization without providing content-which started with the name choice?

While i feel bad about the crime..

I find it hilarious that Alesis and Company keep trying to argue that

Section 8 != Crime. There seem to be far more violent crimes and robberies going on in your Neck of the woods than mine.

Maybe its time to admit that section 8 == Crime.

Uh also as for everyone jumping on "The REAL alesis"

Pretty sure he's right to scoff at someone calling that list of crimes "not bad", a bunch of robberies & Muggings isn't "not bad"

Fewer symbols please. If you have to text message at least make your point clear.

fyi, i think you are missing a "/" in your equation

none the less, would it not appear that the section 8'ers are committing one type of crime in their own neighborhoods (eg shooting each other dead over some BS beef) and another type of crime in outlying neighborhoods (eg face-punching muggings) where the people actually have money and dont know them??
i may have misunderstood your point - if so, i apologize

Please, as I asked before-show me one time I said that crime isn't around section 8(or whatever its called today) housing.

You really try too hard to argue with me, but I'll wait around while you show me where I said what you are claiming.
