Hi i just moved to QV and love it. i have been hearing alot of the new gaming slot parlors but have not heard where they will be located. does anyone have any more info on this?

As for the specific answer to your question, there isn't an answer yet. The state gaming board has sole authority over the location of the new casinos/parlors and the formal review process has not begun, though it is expected to start this summer.

There was some related news today in the Philly Inq, in that Mayor Street and the city's gaming task force met for the first time, though they have no legal authority to dictate where the casinos will end up or what final designs are to be incorporated, although there is likely going to be cooperation in the specifics of site selection and design, with the state gaming board.

Young Involved Philadelphia will be hosting a forum on casinos in Philadelphia on March 9th at 7:00 p.m. at the Seiss Community Center (2111 Sansom St.). I don't have details of who the panelists will be, but when I do I'll post them here.
