Default Dead Kittens - Carpenter Street

I found two dead kittens in the area of Carpenter and Moyamensing this weekend which appear to have been poisoned. These kittens have been living here for several months. They were sweet, but scared feral kittens that did not cause any trouble.

People with cats be alert, and if anyone knows anything about this, please respond to this thread.

I don't know 100 percent whether they were poisoned, it seems to make the most sense. The were both found dead in the same general area, I found one dead late on Friday, and discovered the other one nearby today, because of the smell (it was hidden under something in a neighbor's back area). So I can't think why two sibling cats would die at the same time and place unless it was poison, but again I am not 100 percent sure. I just wanted people to be aware of the situation.

The cats were about six months old, and appeared to be of average health for ferals.

What about the heat? It's been over 90 degrees for a couple of days. What about people leaving catfood out in the streets? Can the heat make the food go bad?

Nothing ticks me off more than alarmist threads with no evidence.

Nothing depresses me more than dead boobookitties.

Sorry to tick you off, I wasn't aware this blog is all about you Alesis.

I wanted to provide the members of this blog with information to see if they heard of anything similar, and to warn them that there might be a possibility that cats might have been poisoned possibly accidentally, and I wasn't trying to be alarmist.

I don't know why you feel the need to reply to every post when you do not have anything pertient to add to the discussion, which of course you don't have in this case.

I enjoy your useful updates on openings and closings on South Street, but sometimes you really need to not respond.

Yowsers.

A cursory view of my threads would show:
A- I love kitties
B- I attempt to lighten the mood of serious posts
C- nothing entertains me more than people who have sticks up the poo shoot and mispercieve fondness for condemnation.

I only wish for whirled peas.

I must admit, I'm a bit affronted by your comment. Unless you forgot to read, I wasn't the only one who questioned your initial absolute comment.
