Default Report it!

You can report that to the Pennsylvania SPCA (PSPCA) at

1-866-601-SPCA or cruelty@pspca.org

They are a private non-profit org that investigates cruelty/abuse against animals.

We received a report about this post. Sometimes trying to lighten a mood comes across as a joke in a not-so-funny place.

Please keep this in mind.

Many thanks,

I would imagine this has nothing to do with people poisoning feral cats or indoor cats going outdoors to bang. It's just people feeding the neighborhood cats and they get healthy and reproduce and then when it hits 98 degrees the offspring die because there's too many of them and they're obviously more susceptible to overheating.

Long story short, stop feeding feral cats and they won't reproduce as much. Anyone know if the SPCA does spay and release in the city?

There is a volunteer network. See

I don't know why you are pointing me out, but I think you should actually read the thread before pointing people out. I did not joke about the incident, I joked about alarmist threads-which was already pointed out by other people.

SPCA doesn't seem to be a solution lately:

Default It's about time

Janet and Jennifer,

Thank you for your wonderful posts giving Alesis a "time out". His hyper-activity on here with a laughable number of posts seems to be his one release to offset his inability to fit into the true world. If I ran into him on the street I would tell him to shut up within 5 minutes since he is an opinionated narrow minded jerk.

Kudos to you two. God save the Queen and the Kittens.

You obviously can't read an entire thread. I didn't say anything wrong, and there is zero proof that any kittens suffered any poisoning, and more likely died due to the extreme heat and lack of water during the prescribed time period.

I fit quite well into "the true world", thankyou. Sure is funny how you know so much yet don't spend anytime on here.

You know me through typed words that are given personality only by your own inflection; when you call me an "opinionated narrow minded jerk", do you realize that:
a. you are violating the the same code that you thanked jennifer for enforcing
b. calling the kettle black
c. Asserting your own ignorance

Shouldn't you be in a jersey forum since that is where you are from? Or at least at monsterpets protesting some inane cause?

so someone has two posts and both of them are trashing and attacking people, which, I believe, is a violation of the TOS on this site.... I saw nothing wrong with Alesis' post, no direct remark on the dead cats, actually, seemed like more of an attempt to lighten up the thread. But check out all of the posts (both of em) from jfishbre... personal attacks.

Thanks for those who are reporting posts to me this week ... fell a little behind as I was on the road.

To all / no one person in particular:

* No personal attacks - meaning ill posts that are pointedly directed at a specific poster
* No name-calling - just ridiculous, doesn't add to the dialogue
* MUCH inspired debate / clarification - this is why we're here.

If we can keep to this, everyone will be happy.

Thanks!
Jennifer
