As I've posted elsewhere, I grew up in the N.E.- Somerton, til I was 10, anyway, so I know some of that area as some around Oxford Circle.
We've only been here about 3 years, and know most of the streets in CC, and have WALKED probably 3/4 of those, plus some in BV, QV, NL, Spring Garden, Fairmount, Art Museum....and just getting started!

I, too, don't understand people who don't leave their neighborhoods. I want to get to know the whole city...or the parts that are worth knowing, anyway, and I'd prefer to decide that part for myself, regardless of how much SOME people like to be "crepe hangers."

I did ask for opinions, but I should have made it clear that since I do live in the city, I am aware that there are problems and that I wasn't inquiring about that.

I love everyone's feedback, otherwise, though! I really hope we like this place!

Amazing

Well, the place wasn't...quite what we'd hoped. Okay, it wasn't even close.

We were in the neighborhood for quite a while, though. We ended up chatting with those nice ladies that sit outside on Randolph, and then we met some other people who were biking past us!
DEFINITELY have to move down there!

Now, we just need a place. Anybody know of one that's up to $1400, no of BR not an issue, DW, W/D, central air, remodeled sometime since the 80's, hardwood floors, and a patio/yard, working fireplace would be nice, too?

Help, please! I'll walk your dog...
